Alanis Morissette to launch 'Jagged Little Pill' anniversary tour

Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Alanis Morissette is going on tour in 2020.

The 45-year-old singer announced in a press release Monday that she will celebrate her 1995 album, Jagged Little Pill, with a 25th anniversary tour featuring Garbage and Liz Phair.

Morissette will perform 31 dates in North America. The North American leg begins June 2 in Portland, Ore., and ends July 25 in Nashville, Tenn.

Pre-sale tickets for those on Morissette's mailing list begin Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. local time. General tickets go on sale Dec. 13.

Jagged Little Pill is Morissette's third studio album and features the singles "You Oughta Know," "Hand in My Pocket" and "Ironic." The album inspired a new Broadway musical written by Diablo Cody.

Morissette will release Such Pretty Forks in the Road, her first album since Havoc and Bright Lights (2012), on May 1. She shared the new single "Reasons I Drink" on Monday.

June 10 -- Phoenix, Ariz., at Ak-Chin Pavilion

June 12 -- Austin, Texas, at Austin360 Amphitheater

June 13 -- Rogers, Ark., at Walmart AMP

June 14 -- Dallas, Texas, at Dos Equis Pavilion

June 17 -- Tampa, Fla., at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

June 18 -- West Palm Beach, Fla., at Coral Sky Amphitheatre

June 20 -- Alpharetta, Ga., at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre

June 21 -- Charlotte, N.C., at PNC Music Pavilion

June 23 -- Raleigh, N.C., at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek
