Ozuna earns four Guinness World Records titles

Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Puerto Rican singer Ozuna has been awarded four Guinness World Records titles.

Guinness World Records presented the 27-year-old recording artist, born Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, with the titles for his achievements in music.

Ozuna received:

Most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart for a male artist - for his album Odisea

Most Billboard Latin Music Award wins for a single artist in a single year - 11 awards this year

Most Billboard Latin Music Award nominations for a single artist in a single year - 23 nominations this year

Artist with the most videos to reach one billion views on YouTube - for "Criminal," "Te Bote," "El Farsante," "Ahora Dice," "Escápate Conmigo," "Se Preparó" and "Taki Taki"

"I feel honored to receive these [Guinness World Records] titles, which validates how hard we've been working for the past years," Ozuna said in a statement.

"I dedicate this, first of all, to God, and to my fans from around the world, who have been there supporting me since the beginning of my career. I am thankful to Guinness World Records for this important recognition," he added.

Billboard said Ozuna received his Guinness World Records certificates and a copy of the Guinness World Records 2020 book at a ceremony in Puerto Rico.

Ozuna has released two albums, Odisea (2017) and Aura (2018), and is expected to release Nibiru this year. Nibiru includes the singles "Baila Baila Baila," "Vacía Sin Mí," "Amor Genuino," "Te Soñé de Nuevo," "Cambio" and "Muito Calor."
