Black Pink sends love to fans on 3rd anniversary

Aug. 8 (UPI) -- South Korean girl band Black Pink is sending love to fans on the group's third anniversary.

The K-pop stars thanked their fans, known as Blink, on social media Thursday on the third anniversary of their debut as a group.

Black Pink members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa recorded a video featuring highlights from throughout the group's career.

"We've had our world tour and wherever we go, so many of you come out to see and support us. It really gives us a lot of energy," Lisa says.

"For all the love and support we've received from our fans for the past three years allowed us, Black Pink, all four of us to get here. For three years, since our debut you guys have remained the same, and we're so thankful," Rosé adds.

Rosé also thanked fans in an Instagram post Thursday.

"I am so proud of each and every one of us for fighting through every moment whether it was a good one or a bad one. We've stayed strong, all four of us, through our trainee days and the three years as Blackpink. I am so grateful for that," the singer wrote.

"Thank you to everyone who has been involved in making us who we are today. That includes our Blinks. We love you terribly and I hope we can give back all the love u guys have shown us before we die!" she added.

Black Pink is known for the singles "Playing with Fire," "As If It's Your Last" and "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," and last released the EP Kill This Love in April. The group
