The official music video for the song will be released on Monday during ABC's Good Morning America, the news program announced on Friday.

"A delicious new video comes out Monday morning," Swift teased on Twitter alongside a close-up photo of frosting and sprinkles.

The artwork for "You Need to Calm Down" features the pop star showing off a back tattoo containing a large number of butterflies flying away from a snake.

The track features a pro-LGBT message and makes references to GLAAD.

"You just need to take several seats and then try to restore the peace/ And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate/ 'Cause shade never made anybody less gay," Swift sings.

Lover is set for release on Aug. 23, Swift announced. The album will also contain the single "ME!" featuring Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie.

Taylor Swift, in support of Lover, will be releasing a clothing line inspired by the album from designer Stella McCartney.

Swift said during an Instagram Live question and answer session with fans that McCartney has heard the new album in order to help her design the pieces.

"I'm so excited about that, and really excited that she would want to collaborate in this way," Swift said about McCartney.
