Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter Zayn Malik is back with new music. The 25-year-old former One Direction member released his second solo album, Icarus Falls, on Friday.
Malik promoted the album with a video on Twitter shortly after midnight. The clip features an animation of wings, a nod to the album's title and Greek myth of Icarus.
"#ICARUSFALLS out now worldwide," Malik captioned the post.

Icarus Falls includes the previously released singles "Let Me," "Entertainer," "Sour Diesel," "Too Much," "Fingers" and "No Candle No Light." It also features the song "Back to Life," which fans believe is about Malik's girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
"back to life is about gigi and no once can convince me otherwise," one person tweeted.
"'honestly she's the only one that's watching over me, gives me oxygen when it gets hard to breathe,'" another fan quoted the song. "zayn is so SO in love with gigi."
Malik left One Direction in March 2015 and released his debut solo album, Mind of Mine, the next year. He and Hadid appeared to reconcile in April after calling it quits in March after two years of dating.
