Nov. 14 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band EXO is making its first-ever top 40 debut on the Billboard 200.
The K-pop group debuted at No. 23 on the chart for the week of Nov. 17 with its new album, Don't Mess Up My Tempo.

Nov. 14 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band EXO is making its first-ever top 40 debut on the Billboard 200. The K-pop group debuted at No. 23 on the chart for the week of Nov. 17 with its new album, Don't Mess Up My Tempo.
EXO is the third K-pop group to enter the top 40 on the Billboard 200, according to The Korea Herald. BTS has topped the chart twice, while Black Pink reached No. 40 with its EP Square Up.
In addition, EXO rose from No. 44 to No. 9 on the Billboard Artist 100, the group's first Top 10 appearance. Billboard said BTS is the only other Korean act to reach the top 10 on the chart.
EXO celebrated its success on the charts in a tweet Tuesday.

EXO released Don't Mess Up My Tempo and a music video for the single "Tempo" on Nov. 2. The album features all nine members and is the group's first Korean-language album since The War.
