Train, Goo Goo Dolls announce joint summer 2019 tour

Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Train and the Goo Goo Dolls will be joining forces for a joint summer tour in 2019.

The tour is set to kick off on June 7th at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Wash., before wrapping up on Aug. 17 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Mass.

The bands will also be performing in cities such as Phoenix, Denver, Kansas City, Dallas, Tampa, Nashville and Cincinnati, among others.

Tickets go on sale for the general public starting on Nov. 16 at 12 p.m. local time through LiveNation. Train and the Goo Goo Dolls will be joined by special guest Allen Stone.

Train released on Friday a Greatest Hits album that features 16 of the group's classic songs including "Drops of Jupiter," "Calling All Angels," and "Hey Soul Sister." The release also includes a cover of George Michael's "Careless Whisper" featuring Kenny G.
