Backstreet Boys announce world tour, new album 'DNA'

Nov. 9 (UPI) -- The Backstreet Boys have announced a 2019 world tour in support of their upcoming 10th studio album titled DNA.

The tour is set to kick off May 11 at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, and will remain throughout the U.K. and Europe until June 25 with a performance at the Budapest Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

The Backstreet Boys will then begin touring North America starting on July 12 at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. before wrapping things up Sept. 15 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Tickets go on sale for the general public starting on Nov. 14 through LiveNation. Every North American ticket includes one physical copy of DNA, set to arrive on Jan. 25.

DNA will include the singles "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" and "Chances," which was released alongside a music video on Friday. The video features the boy band observing a chance encounter between a man and woman at a subway station.

"What are the chances that we'd end up dancing?/ Like 2 in a million, like once in a life/ I could have found you, put my arms around you/ Like 2 in a million, like once in a life/ What are the chances?" the group sings on the track.
