DJ Khaled, Chloe x Halle to open for Jay-Z, Beyonce in North America

June 1 (UPI) -- DJ Khaled and music duo Chloe x Halle announced on Twitter they will be the opening acts for the North American portion of Jay-Z and Beyonce's upcoming OTR II stadium world tour.

The tour is set to kick off June 6 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, U.K. with the married couple remaining in Europe until July 17 when they perform at Allianz Riviera in Nice, France.

The North American leg begins July 25 at the FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland before wrapping up Oct. 2 at BC Place in Vancouver.

"Hitting the road with @S_C_ and @Beyonce in North America for the #OTR2 tour!! #BLESSUP #FANLUV," Khaled said on Twitter confirming that he will be joining part of the tour.

"We will be opening for the North American leg of On the Run II. That's right, the kids are on the run, too," Chloe says in a video next to Halle posted onto Twitter.

"We are so very excited for this family reunion of Parkwood and Roc Nation. We cannot wait to join the North American leg of this tour; we cannot wait to see your beautiful faces and we're so thankful to Beyonce and to Jay-Z and we just know that this is going to be an epic reunion," Halle continued.

Khaled was recently nominated for a leading six awards at the upcoming BET Awards including Album of the Year and Video of the Year. The event is set to take place on June 24.
