Kanye West bought photo of Whitney Houston's bathroom for Pusha T album

May 25 (UPI) -- Kanye West spent $85,000 on a photo of Whitney Houston's bathroom covered in drug paraphernalia to use as the cover art for rapper Push T's new album, Daytona.

West released the image Thursday on Twitter before Daytona was released a day later. West produced the project and is featured on one song.

The photo of Houston's bathroom was taken secretly by one of Houston's family members in 2006 when it was published in the National Enquirer, Entertainment Weekly reported.

"I feel like the cover represents an organized chaos. The energy of the album is a bit chaotic, but it's all in place. Looking at that cover, I'm sure whoever frequents that bathroom or area knew whatever they wanted to find and knew where it was," Pusha T said.

West previously announced that he will release two albums in June, including a seven-track solo outing on June 1 and then a collaboration album with Kid Cudi on June 8.
