Momoland's agency, Dublekick Company, described the song as an "upbeat dance track." The group collaborated on the track with Shinsadong Tiger, the same producer who worked on their single "Bboom Bboom."

"Bboom Bboom," which appears on Momoland's EP Great!, proved a huge success for the group. Momoland celebrated in April after the song's music video reached over 100 million views on YouTube.

Momoland will make its official Japanese debut June 13. The group was formed on the reality competition Finding Momoland in 2016, and is known for the singles "JJan! Koong! Kwang!", "Wonderful Love" and "Freeze."
