BTS also expressed its gratitude to fans in an interview on the red carpet prior to the show.

"The thing we are most proud of is our fans. ARMYs made all this possible," RM said. "It still means a lot -- something we can never get used to."

Vogue reported the seven members of BTS -- Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook -- all wore Gucci to the awards show. The group won Top Social Artist for the second year in a row.

"Fake Love" appears on BTS' album Love Yourself: Tear, which debuted Friday. The song's music video had the second-highest 24-hour debut for a music video in YouTube history, garnering about 41 million views in its first 24 hours.

BTS will showcase songs from Love Yourself: Tear at a comeback show Thursday in Seoul. The group will appear on of The Ellen DeGeneres Show the next day.
