The 24-year-old K-pop star posted a teaser video from the studio on the BTS official Twitter account Thursday after announcing his first solo mixtape will debut March 2.

BTS' agency, Big Hit Entertainment, confirmed J-Hope's plans Friday, according to The Korea Herald. The rapper's bandmates RM and Suga previously released solo mixtapes in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
J-Hope had mentioned the project last week as he and the other members of BTS wished fans a happy Lunar New Year.
"I think many meaningful things will happen to me, as I was born in the Year of the Dog," he said. "I want to share a mixtape I've been working on as soon as possible."
