Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Michelle Branch is pregnant and "excited" to welcome her second child this summer.
The 34-year-old singer announced in a tweet Thursday that she's expecting a baby with fiance and Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney.
"Baby Carney is happening this summer! @patrickcarney and I couldn't be more excited," she wrote, adding a heart emoji.
Branch, who already shares 12-year-old daughter Owen Isabelle with ex-husband Teddy Landau, also posted a sonogram video on Instagram.
"Well, we were just about to send out Save The Dates for our wedding in May when we got this little surprise," the star captioned the clip.
"Wedding is postponed and Baby Carney is happening this summer! Patrick and I couldn't be more excited! xx @officerpatrickcarney," she added.
Branch and Barney started dating in 2015 after collaborating on the singer's album Hopeless Romantic. The couple got engaged on Branch's 34th birthday in July.
"Last night, right before I blew out my candles, @officerpatrickcarney asked me to marry him and then I had nothing left to wish for," the singer gushed in an Instagram post at the time. "34 might be the best year yet."
Branch is known for the singles "Everywhere," "All You Wanted" and "Are You Happy Now?" She released Hopeless Romantic, her third studio album, in April 2017.
