Feb. 7 (UPI) -- The Backstreet Boys are "huge fans" of fellow boy band BTS.

Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter voiced the group's love for BTS in a Twitter Q&A on Tuesday, and invited the K-pop group to attend the Backstreet Boys' residency show in Las Vegas.

"We are huge fans of BTS, we love them," he said in a video response.

Carter said DJ and producer Steve Aoki recently played the Backstreet Boys an unreleased song from BTS.

"Actually, Aoki played us one of their songs that hasn't been released. It's a remix that he did in the studio, because we're actually going to be doing something with Steve Aoki as well," the singer said.

"We want to actually invite the guys to our show in Vegas, if you guys want to come. So BTS all the way, baby," he added.

BTS said in an interview with Access Hollywood in November that they welcome comparisons to the Backstreet Boys.

"We've been listening to 'N Sync and Backstreet Boys [since] we were young," rapper RM said. "We're so honored. I can't still believe it."

BTS last released the EP Love Yourself: Her in September. The album climbed the Billboard 200 this week, moving from No. 90 to No. 67 in its 17th consecutive week on the chart.
