Feb. 5 (UPI) -- South Korean rapper RM is recovering after having nasal surgery.
The 23-year-old K-pop star's agency, Big Hit Entertainment, said Monday that RM is resting at home after undergoing a procedure for a deviated septum.

"RM received the surgery because he experienced difficulty in breathing through his nose and leading his daily life," a rep said, according to The Korea Herald. "He was briefly hospitalized and was recently discharged. He is now recovering well."
RM, born Kim Nam-joon, posted a collage of photos of his dog while at home Monday. The rapper assured fans he's "okay" in the caption.
RM last released the EP Love Yourself: Her with BTS in September. The album helped the boy band win the Daesang Award at the 2018 Seoul Music Awards in January.
