Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Dolly Parton has been recognized by Guinness World Records for having the most decades with a Top 20 hit on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart.

"To receive these two Guinness World Records is so great. Joining so many wonderful singers and songwriters who have been honoured this way feels so special to me," Parton said to Guinness while the organization visited her in Nashville to present her with two certificates.

"You never know when you start out with your work how it's going to turn out, but to have these two world records makes me feel very humbled and blessed!" she continued.

A video, released by Guinness, features Parton receiving the certificates and discussing her career.

"It's a good feeling to know that I've had hit songs through all those decades. It makes me feel like I'm about 100 which it won't be long until I am," Parton jokes in the clip.

Guinness points out that Parton is ahead of other country music icons such as George Jones, Elvis Presley and Reba McEntire by having Top 20 hits appear across six consecutive decades from the 1960's-2010's.

The 72-year-olds first Top 20 hit came in 1967 with "Something Fishy" and her last coming in October 2016 with a new version of "Jolene" featuring a Capella quintet Pentatonix.

Parton, born in 1946, turned 72 on Friday.
