The "Unwritten" singer had announced her pregnancy in October. She said in a post Saturday that her "favorite memory" of the year was learning she would have a son.

"And of course my favorite memory of this year is being blessed with the promise of a baby boy. I can't wait to meet you very soon!" the star gushed.

Bedingfield and Robinson married in Malibu, Calif., in March 2009. The singer, who last released the album Strip Me in December 2010, said in an interview with The Sun in October that she was "so excited" to become a mom.

"Becoming a mum is something I've always dreamed of but for a long time I felt it was way off in the distance," she shared. "I'm so excited to embrace this huge life change. And Matt is super supportive."
