Dec. 14 (UPI) -- "Everyday" singer Ariana Grande is back in the recording studio. The 24-year-old star confirmed in a series of Instagram Stories posts Wednesday that she's working on new music.
Grande updated her followers after a fan site posted a photo of her supposedly in the studio. She explained the picture was either "very old" or "fake," but followed up with a real photo and video of herself working.
"If u wanted confirmation that I've been workin why didn't you just ask?" the singer wrote, adding a sly smiley face emoji.
Grande last released Dangerous Woman, her third studio album, in May 2016. Pharrell Williams said in an interview with WWD in November that he was working with Grande on some "amazing" new music.
"The Ariana Grande stuff is pretty amazing," the singer and producer said. "The things that she has to say on this album, it's pretty next-level. Her album is amazing."
Grande's update comes nearly seven months after a deadly attack at her concert in Manchester, England. A suicide bomber detonated a homemade bomb at the show, killing 22 people and injuring hundreds.
