GFriend to hold first individual concert in January

The K-pop stars last released the reissue album "Rainbow" in September.

Nov. 28 (UPI) -- South Korean girl group GFriend will hold its first individual concert in January.

The K-pop stars will perform two "Season of GFriend" shows at Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea, according to The Korea Herald.

GFriend will take the stage Jan. 6 and 7 in Olympic Park. "Season of GFriend" is named after the act's debut EP, Season of Glass, and will consist of five parts: four "seasons" of the group's music and a fifth "season" featuring individual performances.

GFriend confirmed the news Monday on its official Twitter account alongside holiday-themed photos promoting the concert.

"#GFRIEND 1st CONCERT #Season_of_GFRIEND 2018.01.06.~2018.01.07. Seoul Olympic Park Olympic Hall," the group tweeted.

GFriend released Season of Glass in January 2015, and has since gained fame for the singles "Rough," "Navillera" and "Love Whisper." The group last released Rainbow, a reissue of the EP Parallel, in September.
