The "Peek-A-Boo" video shows Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri lure a pizza delivery boy to their haunted house on the night of a full moon. The singers wear several coordinating outfits, including all-red ensembles.

Perfect Velvet is a followup to the group's debut studio album, The Red, which was released in September 2015. The group last released the EP The Red Summer, which included the single "Red Flavor," in July.

"Even though we had a lot of worries and thought a lot while we prepared our next song, when we saw our completed new album, a lot of our worries went away," the stars said in a Naver V live video, according to Osen.

"We think our fans will like this album," the singers added. "['Peek-A-Boo'] is so great. We're very confident about 'Peek-A-Boo.'"
