BTS to perform on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

The K-pop group is also slated to appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Nov. 9 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band BTS will perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this month.

The K-pop group confirmed Thursday that they will make their U.S. daytime television debut on the show's Nov. 27 episode, according to The Korea Herald.

Billboard reported BTS will film in front of a live audience Nov. 21, with the episode to air the next week. The boy band is the second K-pop act to appear on the series following "Gangnam Style" singer Psy.

BTS is also confirmed to appear on the late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, according to Yonhap News Agency. The group will perform at an outdoor mini-concert Nov. 15 in Los Angeles.

News of the appearances follow word BTS will perform at the 2017 American Music Awards. The K-pop stars will perform their single "DNA" at the awards show Nov. 19 in Los Angeles.

"We are so excited to be invited to the American Music Awards," the singers said in a statement. "All the members are honored to be on the show."
