Play is Super Junior's first release since the band's 10th anniversary album, Devil, which debuted in 2015. The band also shared a music video for "Black Suit" that shows an auction devolving into a wild brawl.

Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk and Donghae promoted the album at a press conference Monday, according to the Korea Joongang Daily. The group's other five members, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Kangin, Sungmin and Siwon were absent.

Kyuhyun and Ryeowook are serving in the military, while Kangin and Sungmin are on personal hiatus from the band. Siwon is staying out of the spotlight following an incident where his French bulldog bit a woman who later died.

"We're all sad that Siwon couldn't join us," Leeteuk said. "Although the situation isn't good, we will try our best to create a cheerful and witty atmosphere while promoting the album."
