Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Prince Royce and boy band CNCO dominated the 2017 Latin American Music Awards alongside other big winners such as Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull. Royce took home four awards including Favorite Artist - Tropical, Song of the Year and Favorite Song - Tropical for his collaboration with Shakira "Deja vu" and Favorite Album - Tropical for his album Five Thursday night.

CNCO also earned four awards including Favorite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock, Album of the Year and Favorite Album - Pop/Rock for their LP Primera Cita with their track "Reggaeton Lento (Bailemos)" winning Favorite Song - Pop/Rock.
Behind Royce and CNCO was Iglesias with the coveted Artist of the Year Award along with Favorite Artist Pop/Rock and his song "Subeme La Radio" with Descemer Bueno and Zion y Lennox winning Favorite Collaboration.
The fan-voted event took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and was hosted by Becky G and Diego Boneta. The ceremony began with a performance by Gloria Trevi who won Favorite Female Artist - Pop/Rock and Alejandra Guzman. Other performers included Camila Cabello, Becky G with Bad Bunny and Wisin y Ozuna among others.
Pitbull was honored with the first ever Dick Clark Achievement Award which is handed down to those who inspire humanity through music and use their influence to help those in need.
"Don't ever forget that immigrants built the United States of America. They should be worrying about building more schools instead of a wall, if you know what I mean," Pitbull said during his speech.
