Foo Fighters postpone multiple concerts due to family emergency

Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Foo Fighters announced on Twitter Sunday that they are postponing two tour dates due to a family emergency.

"Due to family emergency, Foo Fighters concert scheduled for this Monday, October 23rd in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena has been postponed. Information on the new date will be announced shortly," the band wrote in a statement.

Foo Fighters also stated that their Tuesday performance at the Fed Ex Forum in Memphis, has been pushed back until May 3, 2018.

Tickets purchased for the shows will be honored on the new dates with refunds available at the point of purchase.

"Foo Fighters apologize for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing fans at the new dates," the group continued.

On Saturday, Foo Fighters canceled their planned Saturday performance in Lexington, Ky.
