Oct. 17 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band BTS will release a new single album in December.
The K-pop group announced plans for their eighth Japanese single album at their concert Saturday in Osaka, Japan, according to The Korea Herald.

Oct. 17 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band BTS will release a new single album in December. The K-pop group announced plans for their eighth Japanese single album at their concert Saturday in Osaka, Japan, according to The Korea Herald.
The record will include Japanese versions of the songs "DNA" and "MIC Drop," which appear on BTS' latest album, Love Yourself 'Her'. It will also feature "Crystal Snow," a new song in Japanese.
BTS confirmed the news on its "BTS Japan Official" Twitter account Saturday. The post included a link to a news release on the group's official Japanese website, where they announced the album will be released Dec. 6.

Love Yourself 'Her' has set records since its release in September. The album broke the South Korean national sales record, selling 1.2 million copies between its debut Sept. 18 and the end of the month.
In addition, Love Yourself 'Her' is the highest-charting K-pop album to appear on the Billboard 200. The album debuted at No. 7 on the chart, beating BTS' previous record with Wings at No. 26.
