Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Linkin Park plans to livestream its appearance on Carpool Karaoke featuring the late Chester Bennington.
The band shared a photo from the pre-recorded episode announcing they will stream it for free on Facebook on Oct. 12.
"Carpool Karaoke - this time next week. Streaming for free right here on Facebook," the band wrote on Thursday.
The episode was filmed before Bennington, the band's frontman, was found dead following an apparent suicide at his home in California in July.
James Corden, the host of Carpool Karaoke which typically airs exclusively on Apple's paid Apple Music service, said he would respect the wishes of the band and Bennington's family in regards to airing the episode.
"We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however, they would like it to be handled. We consider it not our decision to make," he said. "We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don't think there's any other way we could deal with it. It's a tragedy."
