Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Steve Aoki will indeed collaborate with K-pop group BTS. The 39-year-old American DJ shared photos with the South Korean boy band Monday after teasing a project with BTS in May.
"Producer meeting in Korea working with the @BTS_twt production squad already celebrating our future collab together w/ @officialbelaire!!" he tweeted.
Aoki had sent fans into a frenzy May 23 by posting pictures of himself with BTS. He appeared to hint at a collaboration at the time.
"Game plan [coming soon] @BTS_twt," the DJ wrote.
News of the project follows the release of BTS' new EP, Love Yourself 'Her.' The album has been setting records, including becoming the highest-charting album from a K-pop group on the Billboard 200.
