Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Robert Plant is ready to hit the road again as part of a new North American tour in support of his upcoming album, Carry Fire.

The Led Zeppelin singer kicks off the tour starting Feb. 9 in Raleigh, N.C. at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium before wrapping it up March 2 in Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theatre, Rolling Stone reported.

More concert dates are set to be announced later this year.

Carry Fire, the rockers 11th solo album, is set to hit stores on Oct. 13. The release will include the single "Bluebirds Over The Mountain" featuring Chrissie Hynde. Plant released the track Tuesday and previewed the song on Twitter.

"Here's a bit of 'Bluebirds Over the Mountain' w/@ChrissieHynde. Get it now when you pre-order the album," Plant tweeted alongside a snippet of the song.

"It's about intention," Plant said of Carry Fire in a statement. "I respect and relish my past works but each time I feel the trawl and incentive to create new work. I must mix old with new. Consequently the whole impetus of the band has moved on its axis somewhat, the new sound and different space giving way to exciting and dramatic landscapes of mood, melody and instrumentation."
