Park confirmed his engagement to Hwang in July after months of wedding rumors. The couple were initially expected to marry Sept. 10, but it was later reported the date was pushed back to Sept. 20.

"A specific date hasn't been set yet," Park's agency, C-Jes Entertainment, said. "Park technically never confirmed the date himself, so it can't be said that the wedding has been delayed."

Star News reported Park and Hwang plan to only invite close family and friends to the "small" and "private" wedding ceremony. Hwang is the granddaughter of late Namyang Dairy Products founder Hong Doo-young.

Park was accused in 2016 of sexual assault, but was cleared of all charges earlier this year. He released his first solo album in January 2016, and recently appeared in the movie Lucid Dream, which was released on Netflix in June.
