Sept. 8 (UPI) -- South Korean singer IU shared the cover art for her new album this week.

The 24-year-old K-pop star gave fans a glimpse of the vintage-inspired cover for A Flower Bookmark Two in a Facebook post Thursday.

"#IU Album Cover Image," she captioned a photo of the cover. "2017.09.22. 6PM Release. #IU #AFlowerBookmarkTwo."

The cover shows IU wearing a white mock neck top and a sailor's hat. The singer's name and the album title are written in hangul in a vintage-style font.

The Korea Herald reported the cover is reminiscent of IU's cover art for her EP A Flower Bookmark, which was released in May 2014. The singer's agency, Leon Entertainment, said the new album will include "sentimental songs in tune with the autumn season."

"We selected songs that transcend generations and reinterpreted them through IU's original musical color," the company said. "The album will be popular across generations and stir a deep commotion."

IU last released the album Palette in April, which includes the singles "Through the Night" and "Can't Love You Anymore." She will promote the album at an event Sept. 24 following A Flower Bookmark Two's release Sept. 22.
