Rod Stewart, DNCE preview 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy' remake ahead of MTV VMAs

Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Rod Stewart has teamed up with DNCE to remake his 1978 hit "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" just in time for the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.

Stewart and DNCE are set to perform the collaboration live Sunday during the VMAs remotely via a live stream from Las Vegas, Billboard reported.

Stewart released a preview of the track on YouTube Wednesday with artwork featuring silhouettes of himself and DNCE which features members Joe Jonas, Cole Whittle, JinJoo Lee and Jack Lawless.

"Da Ya Think I'm Sexy" appeared on Stewart's 1978 album Blondes Have More Fun . The song topped Billboard's Hot 100 list for four weeks at the time.

The VMAs, hosted by Katy Perry, will also featured performances by Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony and The Weeknd.
