Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Pink says she's "made amends" with Christina Aguilera since their rumored feud.

The 37-year-old singer, who will receive the Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, addressed her conflict with Aguilera after an Aguilera fan account disparaged her career in a tweet Tuesday.

"Want to point out an awful new phenomenon of the last 10'years. We can no longer be happy for each other. I [love] Xtina, we've made amends," Pink wrote in response.

"Music brings us all together. The best part of music is- there's room for everyone to win at the same time. Don't be what's wrong w/da world," she urged. "Let's be an example of inclusion and celebration. You don't have to like me at all, I'm ok with that. Just be a decent person."

"And you're [expletive] rip van winkle if you've never seen one of my videos," the star added.

Pink will receive the Video Vanguard Award at the 2017 MTV VMAs on Aug. 27. The Aguilera fan account had posted a clip from the "Lady Marmalade" music video featuring Pink and Aguilera following the news.

"Let's celebrate @Pink's Vanguard Award with the only relevant video of her career, starring as Xtina backup singer," the account tweeted.

Pink and Aguilera reportedly feuded during their collaboration on "Lady Marmalade," which was released in 2001. Pink recounted her issues with the singer in a 2009 episode of Behind the Music.

"[Label executive] Ron Fair walked in. He didn't say hi to any of us and said, 'What's the high part? What's the most singing part? Christina's going to take that part,'" she recalled.

"I stood up, and I said, 'Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I'm Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that's what the [expletive] meeting's about,'" the star said.
