Aug. 3 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band Wanna One are gearing up for the debut of their first EP.
The K-pop group gave fans a glimpse of their "Energetic" music video Thursday prior to the release of their album 1x1=1 (To Be One).

Aug. 3 (UPI) -- South Korean boy band Wanna One are gearing up for the debut of their first EP. The K-pop group gave fans a glimpse of their "Energetic" music video Thursday prior to the release of their album 1x1=1 (To Be One).
The video shows Yoon Ji-seong, Ha Sung-woon, Hwang Min-hyun, Ong Seong-wu, Kim Jae-hwan, Daniel Kang, Park Ji-hoon, Park Woo-jin, Bae Jin-young, Lee Dae-hwi and Lai Kuan-lin dancing and playing in the summer heat.
Wanna One shared a track list and two different covers for 1x1=1 (To Be One) this week. The EP, which debuts Aug. 7, will feature seven songs, including "Energetic," "To Be One," and "Wanna Be (My Baby)."

The K-pop group was formed by CJ E&M entertainment company on the reality competition Produce 101 Season 2 this year. The series was controversial due to emphasis on the contestants' looks, according to The Korea Times.
