Girls' Generation singer Yuri injures her leg

"I pulled a ligament in my leg but you don't need to worry that much," the star said.

July 27 (UPI) -- Girls' Generation singer Yuri is recovering after injuring her leg this week.

The 27-year-old South Korean singer assured fans she'll be "fine" in an Instagram post Thursday after pulling a ligament ahead of Girls' Generation's concerts in Tokyo.

"I pulled a ligament in my leg but you don't need to worry that much. Everything's gonna be fine cause I've got Sone.." she wrote, referencing the group's fans. "Thank you for being with me all the time~!"

Girls' Generation will perform Thursday and Friday at SM Entertainment's SMTOWN shows, according to Soompi. The concerts come ahead of the release of the K-pop stars' sixth studio album, Holiday Night.

The Chosun Ilbo reported last week that Holiday Night is meant to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Girls' Generation's debut. The group will promote the album at a fan event Aug. 5 in Seoul, South Korea.

Girls' Generation's present lineup consists of Yuri, Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun. The singers released their debut album, Girls' Generation, in 2007, and last released the album Lion Heart in August 2015.
