July 13 (UPI) -- K-pop superstar Taeyang has announced that his global "White Night" tour is heading to the United States and Canada. The singer released a poster on Instagram confirming the dates for his North American trek that begins Aug. 30 in Toronto and ends Sept. 15 in Vancouver.

Taeyang will be performing in cities such as New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, San Jose and Los Angeles. The Big Bang alum is said to be planning more dates for the tour.
"After releasing his new album, Taeyang is ready to perform more hit tracks for everyone. It will be Taeyang's first solo tour in North America so you sure don't want to miss out on it!" noted KPop Me Entertainment.
Before arriving in North America, Taeyang will be performing inside the Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Aug. 26 and 28.
