"Taemin will release his third album as an individual artist next month," S.M. Entertainment said. "This would be his first album in 1 1/2 years."

The Korea Joongang Daily subsequently reported Taemin will hold his first solo concert in August. The singer will perform his hits, unreleased tracks and songs from his new album at two shows, titled Off-Sick.

The Off-Sick concerts will take place Aug. 26 and 27 at Olympic Hall in Seoul. S.M. Entertainment said "'Sick comes from being sick of old-fashioned concepts and performances and 'Off' means to turn that worn-out style off."

Taemin came to fame with the boy band SHINee, which last released the Japanese studio album Five in January. His solo album, Press It, debuted in February 2016, and includes the singles "Drip Drop" and "Press Your Number."
