June 29 (UPI) -- South Korean music duo Clon celebrated their 20th anniversary this week by releasing the new album We Are.

Members Koo Jun-yup and Kang Won-rae reflected on their lasting friendship while promoting the EP at a news conference Thursday in Seoul.

"It feels like just yesterday when we jumped around our first debut stage for 'Kung Ddari Sha Bah Rah.' Koo and I have lived totally different lives since my motorcycle accident," Kang, who was paralyzed in 2000, said, according to the Korea Herald.

"With the new album in sight, I think Koo and I will remain forever as Clon, unless we have a clash terrible enough to rip us apart," he added.

Clon released four albums, including their debut Are You Ready, before disbanding after Kang's motorcycle accident. The duo returned with the album Victory in 2005, and said Thursday that they plan to continue making music.

"I'm happy thinking that I'm in a moment to prove that Clon is still alive. I want to do more as long as I am able to," Koo said, according to Yonhap News Agency.

"I'm going to work hard thinking that my best days of fame are still ahead of me. I hope our generation, from those in their 40s and 50s, don't give up on dreams thinking we're too told," Kang added.

We Are features six tracks, including the new songs "Everybody" and "Go Tomorrow," and a remix of the duo's hit "Cho Ryun."
