June 22 (UPI) -- South Korean girl group Black Pink released a music video for "As If It's Your Last" this week.
Members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa shared a video for the single Thursday after discussing their comeback at a press event the same day.
"It's the first time we're being seen [by the public] in six months, and we have a completely new look," Jennie told reporters, according to the Korea Herald.
"As If It's Your Last" is an upbeat, fast-paced song intended to show a "lighter" side of the group. The video shows the stars sing and dance against a number of colorful backdrops.
"It's a track that fits well with the summer atmosphere and brings out our lively charms," Jisoo said, according to Soompi. "If our previous songs had a more 'black' color to them, then this song has more of a 'pink' color vibe."
"We had prepared a lot in the past to bring more powerful performances, but for this song, we have a choreography that is easier to follow and we even blow kisses. There are a lot of cute, pretty elements mixed in."
Black Pink debuted as a group in August, and have since released the singles "Whistle," "Boombayah" and "Playing with Fire." They will release an EP in Japan in August.
