Jay Z to release new album on June 30

June 19 (UPI) -- 4:44, the latest album by rapper Jay Z, is set to drop June 30 via his Tidal music streaming service.

This has been a busy month for the recording artist who recently welcomed twins -- his second and third children with his wife Beyonce. The couple has a 5-year-old daughter, as well.

Former U.S. President Barack Obama also praised Jay Z in a video-taped statement last week when the musician was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
