April 17 (UPI) -- Gorillaz have announced a new North American tour, their first in seven years, in support of their upcoming album Humanz.
The tour kicks off July 8 at the Huntington Bank Pavillon at Northerly Island in Chicago, before wrapping up Oct. 15 at the III Points Festival in Miami.
The band will also be making stops at the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco and the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in New York as part of the tour.
Gorillaz, consisting of Blur's Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett and represented by animated characters 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel, will be joined onstage throughout the tour by a number of their Humanz collaborators including Jehnny Beth (Savages), Danny Brown, Benjamin Clementine, De La Soul, D.R.A.M., Peven Everett, Anthony Hamilton, Grace Jones, Zebra Katz, Kelela, Mavis Staples, Vince Staples, Popcaan, Pusha T, Jamie Principle and Kali Uchis among others.
Tickets go on sale starting April 21 and will include a copy of Humanz in either a digital of physical format.
