Chris Brown: No feud with Quavo over Karrueche Tran

April 13 (UPI) -- Chris Brown is downplaying his reported feud with Quavo over ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

The 27-year-old rapper appeared to address his rumored beef with the Migos member Wednesday after reports surfaced that Quavo is dating the 27-year-old actress.

Brown shared a fan tweet reading, "If you read an article that says 'Sources close to Chris Brown told TMZ' and you keep reading it or believe it, CONGRATS, YOURE A MORON!" but later deleted the post.

TMZ had reported the same day that Brown was "angry" about Quavo's rumored relationship with Tran. The rapper and Quavo are close friends who collaborated on the French Montana song "Moses" and other projects.

Sources said Brown was "livid" he helped promote Migos' new album, Culture, while Quavo was reportedly seeing Tran in secret. Insiders also claimed Brown believes Tran's recent restraining order against him was "orchestrated" by the actress and Quavo.

Brown and Tran split in 2015 after several years of on-again, off-again dating. The actress was granted a restraining order against Brown in February after alleging the rapper "threatened to kill" her and "harass" her friends.

"Around the second week of February, he told a few people that he was going to kill me," she said in court papers. "He said if no one else can have me, then he's gonna 'take me out.'"
