Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Cheryl Cole showed off her baby bump in a charity video Thursday after months of speculation about her pregnancy.

The 33-year-old English singer confirmed she's pregnant and expecting her first child with One Direction member Liam Payne, 23, by appearing in a L'Oreal and Prince's Trust campaign.

Cole showed off her growing belly in a form-fitting black dress in the video, which celebrates L'Oreal's partnership with The Prince's Trust, an organization that helps young people with jobs, education and training.

"Understanding that confidence can be a barrier to young people's success, we've teamed up with L'Oreal to develop an 'All Worth It' confidence training course -- transforming self-doubt into self-worth -- to help give thousands of jobless young people the future they deserve," the charity said on its website.

Cole was spotted with a slight bump in November, although she and Payne have kept quiet on the matter. Her former Girls Aloud bandmate, Kimberley Walsh, had let the news slip in an interview with Sunday People the month before.

Cole is "really happy right now," the 35-year-old singer said. "And she'll be a brilliant mum. She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she's used to the madness of children."

Cole and Payne were first linked in February 2016 following Cole's split from husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. Cole last released the album Only Human in 2014, which includes the singles "Crazy Stupid Love" and "I Don't Care."
