"I was around 15 when I realized he was inescapable," Frances Bean told Rolling Stone in 2015. "Even if I was in a car and had the radio on, there's my dad. He's larger than life and our culture is obsessed with dead musicians. We love to put them on a pedestal."

"If Kurt had been just another guy who abandoned his family in the most awful way possible... But he wasn't," she added. "He became even bigger after he died than he was when he was alive. You don't think it could have gotten any bigger. But it did."

Frances Bean has modeled for i-D magazine, Elle and Harper's Bazaar, and was named the face of Marc Jacobs' Spring/Summer 2017 campaign in in January.

"I am honored to have worked with such incredibly creative, inspiring people for this campaign. Thank you @themarcjacobs & David Sims," she tweeted at the time.
