Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez says fans can expect a new song this week.

The 24-year-old singer announced in an Instagram post Monday that she will release the collaboration "It Ain't Me" with Norwegian DJ Kygo on Thursday, Feb. 16.

"#ItAintMe. Thursday. @kygomusic," she captioned a photo of herself with the 25-year-old music producer, born Kyrre Gorvell-Dahll.

Kygo had teased the project last week by posting a 20-second clip from the song on Instagram. The preview features Gomez's vocals over breezy island instrumentals.

Gomez last released the album Revival in 2015, which includes the singles "Good for You" and "Hands to Myself." She had a difficult year in 2016, which she addressed at the American Music Awards in November.

"I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside. I kept it all together to where I'd never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down," the star confessed.

"All I can say from the bottom of my heart is I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to be able to share what I love every single day with people that I love. I have to say thank you so much to my fans because you guys are so damn loyal and I don't know what I did to deserve you," she added.

Gomez cozied up to rumored boyfriend The Weeknd at a Grammys after-party Sunday following the 26-year-old Canadian singer's performance at the annual awards ceremony, according to Us Weekly. The pair enjoyed a romantic trip to Italy in January.

"He really likes her. They text every day," a source told E! News at the time. "They have a really sexy and flirty relationship. They laugh and like each other's personalities."
