Perrie Edwards kisses Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in new photo

Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Perrie Edwards is going public with rumored boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The 23-year-old Little Mix singer appeared to confirm she's dating the English soccer star, also 23, by sharing a photo on Instagram of herself kissing Oxlade-Chamberlain in Paris.

"Him," she captioned the picture for her 5.5 million followers.

Edwards first sparked dating rumors with Oxlade-Chamberlain in November, and later shared a since-deleted photo with the Arsenal player and her dogs. Sources told The Sun in January that the couple were trying to keep their romance quiet.

"Perrie wants to keep her love life private," an insider said. "It's early days and they're still getting to know each other so it's unlikely her stance will change."

Edwards previously dated singer Zayn Malik, but split from the former One Direction member in August 2015. She said in the Little Mix book, Our World, that Malik broke up with her via text message.

"It was horrible, the worst time in my life. A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that. Even though things in my career were going really well, it was incredibly difficult for me," the star confessed.

Malik has since started dating model Gigi Hadid, who spilled details about her date nights with the singer in the March issue of British Vogue. Hadid said she and Malik enjoy low-key nights at home with coffee, cookies and movies.
