LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Emma Watson sings as Belle in Beauty and the Beast in an audio clip that surfaced this week.
Fans got a preview of the 26-year-old British actress singing "Something There" after a Hasbro doll featuring Watson's voice debuted in toy stores.
Beauty and the Beast producer Jack Morrissey confirmed the clip featured Watson after fans uploaded photos of the doll and audio online.
"Well there it is, straight from the shelves at Toys R' Us..." he wrote Thursday on Instagram.

Watson was announced as Belle in January 2015. Paige O'Hara, who voiced the character in the 1991 animated Disney version, later told USA Today that the actress was a perfect pick for the new, live-action adaptation.
"I think that if I were producing that movie, Emma Watson would've been my first choice for Belle," she said.
"I'm just really happy they went with Emma," the star added. "She's got the intelligence, she's got the humor. I think she's going to be really, really special."
The new Beauty and the Beast is directed by Bill Condon (Chicago) and co-stars Dan Stevens, Luke Evans and Kevin Kline. The movie released a first full-length trailer in November, and will open in theaters March 17, 2017.
"I was so excited to hear that Disney was thinking about doing a live-action version," Condon said in a behind-the-scenes video in September. "When something is so perfect, why get near it? The answer is technology has caught up to the ideas that were introduced in that movie."
