NEW YORK, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Bruno Mars thinks Adele can be a bit of a "diva."

The 31-year-old American singer said on Tuesday's episode of Cubby and Carolina in the Morning that the 28-year-old English star initially had "attitude" when they collaborated on her song "All I Ask."

"She walked in the studio, she's got all this attitude, she's a diva, she's like, 'I don't want to do this. I don't like that,'" he recalled. "As soon as we hit a couple chords that she liked, we started rolling and that's where we got that song."

Mars and Adele co-wrote "All I Ask" for the English star's album 25, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in November 2015. Mars also praised the singer in the interview, saying he would love to perform their song together live.

"She's incredible. There was a moment where she was singing in the booth -- I'm not exaggerating at all -- and the water was vibrating. Like, you know that scene in Jurassic Park? She's got some pipes on her. She's just a superstar," he lauded.

Adele herself said in the Winter 2015 issue of i-D magazine that she and Mars had incredible "fun" recording "All I Ask." Mars will release his third studio album, 24K Magic, on Nov. 18, and follow up with a tour and a "boutique" show in Las Vegas.

"We've got a whole tour coming. I wish this album was out so y'all could hear it," he told Cubby and Carolina. "I'm definitely going on tour and I'm doing [a show] in Vegas, because Vegas is something totally different."
