LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Kelly Clarkson and daughter River got their dance on to Salt-N-Pepa for charity this week.

The 34-year-old singer shared a video of herself and 2-year-old River showing off their moves to "Push It" for the #DiabetesDanceDare challenge.

"I've been dared by Melissa Peterman to do the Diabetes Dance Dare," Clarkson said of friend and actress Melissa Peterman. "I accept your challenge -- so does River Rose."

"We challenge the entire cast of The Voice. That's Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton. I'm gonna throw Gwen Stefani in there, too, come on!" she added.

The Diabetes Dance Dare seeks to raise funds and awareness of the fact that an American is diagnosed with diabetes every 23 seconds. The campaign is similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS.

Clarkson shares River and 10-month-old son Remy with husband Brandon Blackstock, whom she married in 2013. The singer revealed last week that she doesn't want any more children, and further explained her decision Tuesday to Entertainment Tonight.

"We are not having any more kids. I mean, there's no time for more kids, yeah. Just, like, fitting everything in is hard enough, and I hate pregnancy. Like, with a capital H," she admitted.

"I was mid-pregnancy with Remy and I made my husband [get a vasectomy]," the star confirmed. "I didn't have to force him. He was running to the doctor. We both were like, 'Nope!'"

Clarkson had said on the Oct. 6 episode of The Jenny McCarthy Show podcast that "nothing is beautiful" or "magical" about pregnancy. The singer had difficult pregnancies with both River and Remy.
