LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Lil Wayne has addressed his recent series of cryptic tweets that hinted at his possible retirement stating "I still feel that way."

"This was a tweet off of an argument over what's going on. I was at my tipping point," Wayne, also known as Weezy said Tuesday while appearing on Fox Sports 1 latest sports talk show, Undisputed, with analysts Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe.

"This is business. I have a family. I have kids. I have a mother. We have bills. Once the business is right, then the business is right," he continued about working with his former running mate and Cash Money Records head Birdman. The pair have been feuding on and off since 2014.

"I did feel that way. I still feel that way. I didn't take it down," Wayne said of the tweet before saying he would not work with Birdman again. "Give me mine and I'll walk off free, smiling."

Originally, Wayne caused a stir on social media when he tweeted "I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I'm dun," leading many fans and peers to assume he was headed for retirement.

The 33-year-old has been dominating headlines throughout 2016 as he has been hospitalized several times after experiencing seizures.
